Modular Trenches for 40K Confirmed?

It looks like modular trenches are indeed on their way if this apparent picture from new White Dwarf is anything to go by.


I think I know what I’ll be asking Santa for this Christmas 🙂

    I can’t think of a more boring type of warfare to recreate than trench warfare.

      I see where you’re coming from but they do have other uses.

      What about a deeply entrenched force being assaulted by a stronger enemy army? Such terrain can be a boon for the adventurous scenario gamer. I for one can’t wait!

        That is true. I also overlooked the fact that the armies of world war one lacked airborne troops, teleport technology and hulking monstrosities invulnerable to small arms fire, which might all have contributed to breaking the stalemate on the western front.
